Southern California Receives Much Needed Precipitation

There will be no write-up for this past weekend.  The rain and snow kept Hunter and I indoors through the weekend.  It is very nice to see the snow capped peaks out the window, and I am especially glad that we received some much needed rain.  This most likely will postpone any early season peak bagging until the summer, but I'm quite fine with that.  So stick to some lower elevation hiking for now, or take a drive into the San Gabriels to catch a glimpse of some snow.  ABC 7 reported Mt. Baldy received over 18" of snow.  Check out the Mt. Baldy Webcam.  Enjoy the views.
